Welcome to the 2026 Ides Of Madness!

For more than four decades, the Ides Of Madness has offered its unique twist on the traditional NCAA Men’s Basketball championship pool:
  1. Participants make selections one weekend at a time, so if the early games don’t all go your way, you’ll have a second chance to rethink and reset your approach.
  2. Point values for each game are unknown until after all pick selections have been made, as point values are determined by the number of people in the pool sharing the selection. The more people sharing the same pick, the less it’s worth. Conversely, if you identify an upset that few others selected, then the point values really climb. Feel free to look at prior year’s results to see how this works.
